Meet Scotti Lechuga

Scotti races her bike around the world, and between her training regimen, coaching other athletes and raising her twin 8-year-old boys, she demands a lot of her body! Coming from a professional road cycling background, Scotti now competes in ultra endurance cycling events, often traversing challenging high altitude mountain passes and logging hundreds of miles, sometimes within a day! She began using Tree of Life Seeds CBD products in 2018 when she heard it could help with chronic inflammation. Little did she know, it would benefit her in so many other ways:

“I originally sought out CBD products when I learned of their anti-inflammatory benefits for athletes. I dabbled with a few different brands, but once I found Tree of Life Seeds, my search was over! I  experience so many benefits with Tree of Life Seeds products: reduced fatigue after hard workouts, improved sleep, and instantaneous relief of soreness in muscles and joints with their topical products. They’ve taken extra precautions to also ensure their products are legal for competition, which is important for those competing at the elite level.”

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Scotti Lechuga, and I live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I’ve been cycling professionally for about seven years, and I’m a mom of twin boys. In 2010 my husband Ernie and I founded our coaching business, Leborne Coaching, and in addition to racing ourselves, we enjoy working with endurance athletes of various disciplines. In my spare time, I freelance write for cycling industry brands, and I really enjoy music and the outdoors. And chocolate

What does brand ambassadorship mean to you?

I believe in authentic connections, so I seek out partnerships with brands that I not only want to use and represent myself, but also get excited to share with my friends and family. Representing Tree of Life Seeds comes naturally for me, because I believe in the products.

Please tell us about your Pro Cycling career.

I did things backwards from most and had my kids BEFORE turning pro!  When my boys were only toddlers, I received my first professional contract and began racing internationally. I’ve competed in some of the world’s toughest road stage races including the Giro d’Italia, the women’s version of the Tour de France, and AMGEN Tour of California. In 2019 I stepped away from the road to pursue ultra (or endurance) style racing. Now, I just ride for a lot longer and with a lot less sleep! My next race in 2020 is Atlas Mountain Race in Morocco.
